Job Description:

Analyzes performance and instructs student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition; observes players while they perform to determine need for individual or team improvement; and coaches players individually or in groups, demonstrating techniques of sport coached.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with team practice, conduct player evaluations, and coordinate travel schedules
• Serve as recruiting coordinator for prospective players
• Revenue generation through public and private fundraising
• Train, evaluate, and supervise assistant coaches and volunteer program staff members

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 4 years assistant coaching experience- Division I basketball
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and guidelines regarding Div. I basketball recruiting and coaching
• Valid driver's license
