Position Description

Oversees the athletic compliance reporting process to include 1) the preparation and submission of athletic certification documents pertaining to transfer tracers; degree completion; transfer evaluations; and the All American Application. 2) the updating of the certification spreadsheet; and the APR spreadsheet; enters APR information into Compliance Assistant. Oversees progress toward degree reporting for Veterans Enrollment Service and Student Athletes in DegreeWorks. Works with academic advisors across campus to ensure the accuracy of degree audits for both academic history and courses in progress. Serves on the University Advisement Center technology subcommittee as a representative of the Office of the University Registrar. Supports the Senior Associate Registrar for Educational Planning with the CPOS (Course Program of Study) which determines students’ eligibility for Title IV financial aid. Assists with commencement and other duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.

| Preferred Qualifications |
Experience with higher education degree audit systems, athletic certification, transfer credit evaluation, and Banner student information systems is preferred.
|
| Knowledge/Skills/Abilities |
Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical problem-solving skills. Must be organized. Knowledge in higher education trends and regulations pertaining to transfer students and athletic compliance.
