The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA), founded in 1891, is a nonprofit organization whose objective is to "promote, influence, and assist in financing the varsity athletic programs of the midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy" in accordance with the policy of the Superintendent of the Academy. Through an intercollegiate athletics program that is one of the largest in the country, every midshipman is afforded the opportunity to compete in athletics at the Division I level. The emphasis on physical fitness is borne out in the first line of the mission of the U.S. Naval Academy: To develop midshipmen morally, mentally and physically.
Summary
The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA) seeks a team-driven, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented professional to serve as Assistant Director for the Navy Letterwinners Association. This position will focus on building meaningful connections with alumni, fostering engagement, and enhancing the overall experience for U.S. Naval Academy graduates. Reporting to the Executive Director of the Navy Letterwinners Association, the position will also support the broader efforts of alumni engagement within the NAAA Athletic Development and Alumni Engagement team. The Navy Letterwinners Association recognizes and honors the legacy of former Midshipmen Varsity & Club Sport Student-Athletes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate Navy Letterwinners Association annual engagement initiatives and special events;
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the Navy Letterwinners Association, including social media, email and video campaigns, and direct mail communications;
Assist with the development and production of monthly newsletters, event invitations, and other engagement communications;
Maintain and expand the database of all former Navy Varsity and Club Sport athletes;
Partner with members of the NAAA Development and External teams and the Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation to help grow the Navy Letterwinners Association;
Assist with the annual Army-Navy Football game, Navy Football home games, and Navy Lacrosse alumni in-game hospitality efforts;
Provide first-class customer service to alumni of the U.S. Naval Academy;
Other duties as assigned.

Must be eligible to work in the United States of America, without sponsorship.
Must be eligible to work on a military installation, including a willingness to submit to a background screen.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.

This job operates in both a professional office environment and outside at sport-related events, including inclement weather
