Purpose of Position : To serve and represent the Athletic Director managing the day-to-day business operations of the athletics department. This position reports directly to the Deputy Athletics Director.
Responsibilities :
Serve as a secondary liaison to the Controller.
Approve and allocate department expenses and revenues.
NCAA and conference related responsibilities.
Assist the Senior Associate Athletics Director with contractual matters including review and approval of:
Approve and audit hourly payroll for student help, classified/hourly and part-time workers (e.g., Braves Vision, Ticket Office, study hall monitors, and marketing student workers).
Supervise and delegate responsibilities of Equipment Manager.
Assist with the day-to-day supervision of the Director of Ticket Operations.
Serve on Department, University, Conference and NCAA committees as assigned.
Serve as event/side coordinator at athletics events.
Other duties as assigned by the Deputy Athletics Director or Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a major in business or accounting preferred; the successful candidate must also be willing to uphold the mission and values of Bradley Athletics and adhere to all NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference and University rules and policies.
