A Master’s Degree and one (1) year of relevant experience is required.
The department is especially interested in candidates who have worked with student-athletes in an intercollegiate athletics department.
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Will require work beyond normal hours including nights, weekends, some travel and holidays.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Experience in intercollegiate athletics and knowledge and understanding of
NCAA
Division I rules and regulations.
Must be able to comply with all Department, University, Board of Trustees, Conference, and
NCAA
policies and procedures.

Counsels and assists student-athletes in selecting major courses of study, selecting courses, changing majors, drop-add, and developing effective study habits.

Maintains records on activities and other department files; prepares and presents oral and written reports on activities.

Monitors eligibility compliance with NCAA, conference, and University policies; assists in reviewing and preparing certification or compliance reports.

Organizes and supervises study tables and tutorial support activities on campus and on the road.

Provides counseling and referral resources in non-academic areas.

Monitors students’ degree plans; evaluates grade transcripts and maintains academic records; monitors class attendance and student progress.
