Exercise discretion and independent judgment while monitoring the academic progress of assigned student-athletes from matriculation to graduation. Coordinate student affairs programs or other projects as assigned by the Associate AD for Student-Athlete Support Services.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge and skills in guidance, counseling and motivational techniques, typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in education, business or related field is required.
Experience advising an assigned population of student-athletes in accordance with the NCAA academic eligibility requirements is required.
Two (2) years of experience providing academic support services to student athletes is required.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse educational, cultural and economic backgrounds is required.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail is critical and required.
Ability to use a personal computer, databases, and student information systems is required.
Knowledge of issues faced by Division I student-athletes at the campus, conference and national levels is required.
