Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to support the academic success, retention, eligibility, and timely degree completion of student-athletes at Western Kentucky University (WKU). Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director/Associate Director of the Student-Athlete Success Center (SASC), this position provides academic advising and support to assigned student-athletes, monitors academic progress toward degree completion and continued eligibility, evaluates academic records, and coordinates academic support services and programming.

The position is responsible for maintaining accurate student-athlete academic records, preparing academic progress reports, supervising study hall operations, and assisting with mentoring initiatives and other student-athlete development programs. Additionally, the position supports recruitment and transfer processes by coordinating recruiting visits, communicating available academic resources to prospective student-athletes and their families, and serving as a liaison between the SASC, academic departments, and the university's Transfer Center.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience providing academic support

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $36,000 - $38,000
