Athletic Annual Giving Coordinator

Position Summary

The Athletic Annual Giving Coordinator manages the day-to-day operations of SUU Athletics' annual giving efforts. This position assists in annual fundraising strategies for donors, coordinates athletic development events, and engages alumni, fans, and supporters through innovative multi-channel outreach. The manager works closely with Advancement and Athletics staff to grow donor participation and build a support pipeline for SUU Athletics.

Essential Functions

• Manages the SUU Athletics Annual Fund operations and fulfills associated donor membership benefits.

• Plans, organizes, and executes athletic fundraising and donor engagement events.

• Coordinates communications related to athletics fundraising, including direct mail, newsletters, emails, phone, text, and social media.

• Trains and supervises graduate assistants, student employees, and volunteers involved in athletics fundraising and outreach.

• Develops and implements strategies to increase annual giving to SUU Athletics through targeted outreach, messaging, and stewardship.

• Manages and maintains accurate giving reports and data collection on contributions to SUU Athletics.

Education & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sports Managements, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage donor engagement programs and fundraising events.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with donor databases and digital marketing tools.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in a related field. - Experience in a collegiate athletics fundraising or donor relations role. - Familiarity with athletic development operations, donor benefit fulfillment, and CRM systems.
