The Athletic Assistant is responsible for assisting in the analysis and distribution of Men's Basketball video information.

Salary: Commensurate based on selected candidates experience.

Additional Details: Travel required with assigned sport. Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekend and holidays) as required to complete assigned duties.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience and background in NCAA Rules.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of word processing and basic spread sheet applications.

• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.

• Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively.

Responsibilities

• LIAISON:  Serves as the liaison between coaching staff and video staff, providing specific video information and statistics as requested.

• VIDEO:  Organizes and distributes all video tapes. All other necessary duties involving the handling of basketball video. Assists in the analysis and distribution of Men's Basketball video information.

• CAMP/CLINIC:  Assists the Men's Basketball Camp Director with camp logistics.

• COMPLIANCE: Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations concerning student-athlete: conduct, appearance, road games, punctuality, and other areas as deemed appropriate. Maintains awareness of and supports the initiatives of the Athletics Department.
