What we want
The Athletic Assistant Position will serve as social media relations liaison for the Baseball program, and assist with social media, graphic design, and other various administrative duties.
What you need to know
Salary: Will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.

Travel: Travel required with assigned sport.
Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekends and holidays) as required to complete assigned duties.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year of coaching/teaching/playing baseball experience.
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to use document processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to plan and organize effectively.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities
Social Media Relations
Serves as media relations for Baseball, working alongside the Sports Information, Internet/Video, and Marketing Departments.
Will be responsible for all social media platforms for Baseball.
Recruiting Administration
Coordinates mass mail outs for Baseball program.
Develops and maintains database with addresses (e-mail & postal) and fax numbers for high schools and Coaches in Texas and the surrounding states.
Scouting/Video
Work with baseball coaching staff in developing media for use in analysis and scouting to incorporate into game plans for Texas A&M Baseball Team.
Prepare and present video for and of our players and team along with opponents as well.
Media Aquisition
Collaborate with coaches video operations in utilization of personnel for media acquisition from various sports events.
Collaborate in the purchase/maintenance of Athletic Department Video Equipment with the Athletic Department Video Lab staff.
Collaborate on yearly purchase of video equipment and peripherals with the Athletic Department Video Lab staff.
