The Athletic Communications Assistant will assist with media relations at home sporting events
Assist with live statistics, managing social media, and handling additional game day responsibilities for all home sporting events
Assist with photography and adding content to gogriffons.com
Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment on game day

Esports, Recreation, or Sports Management majors; or a strong background in computer science, video games, or management. certification in

Strong organizational skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Familiarity with using Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiarity with photography and basic understanding to properly utilize in-game.
Basic knowledge of social media and content creation.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
Regular early morning, nighttime, and weekend work is required.
Schedule will vary based on applicant’s class hours.
May be exposed to the loud noise of an audience at games.
Incumbents may, on rare occasions, be subjected to extreme temperatures, inclement weather, and bodily fluids.
Spratt Stadium Spring Sports Complex, Looney Complex
Generally works in an office or an indoor or outdoor sports environment.

Anticipate 16 hours per week.
