Director of Athletics
The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, invites nominations and applications for the Director of Athletics. Top candidates will possess dynamic and mission-driven leadership while establishing the highest standards of excellence in academic and athletic performance. The Athletic Director will be responsible for the mission, vision, strategic planning, and administration of the Athletics department. The Athletic Director will direct and develop the intercollegiate athletic operations, ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations while fostering a championship culture and promoting sportsmanship and community engagement. This position reports directly to the President.

The Citadel, also known as the Military College of South Carolina, is a public senior military college, located in historic Charleston, a city known for its unique charm and high quality of life. The Citadel also functions as a public regional university offering on-campus and online graduate degrees, certificates, selected undergraduate evening programs, and a joint doctoral program, in a traditional civilian environment through The Citadel Graduate College and the Evening Undergraduate Program.
