Texas State University is seeking applicants for the position of Athletic Equipment Manager. This position is a full-time benefits eligible position.
The Athletic Equipment Manager is responsible for management, oversight and supervision of the equipment room operations including purchasing, inventory, distribution, maintenance, and collection of all athletic equipment. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: manage all equipment aspects for the football program, collaborate with coaches and staff concerning equipment needs, develop and implement policies and procedures for the athletic equipment room operations, oversee proper fitting and adjusting of equipment for student-athletes, work in conjunction with the Athletic Business Office to procure items in accordance with University purchasing policies and procedures and department vendor contracts, organize and administer the transportation of equipment for all away football contests, supervise full-time assistant managers and student managers for the football program, ensure compliance with NCAA, Conference, Texas State and State of Texas rules and regulations.
