High School Relations: Track coaching changes and update recruiting database to ensure accuracy; Create and maintain relationships with HS Coaches and key school stakeholders of identified prospects; Maintain relationship with HS Coaches of current Student-Athletes; Create weekly correspondence plan for High School Coaches to reinforce program values; Invite and process Comp Tickets for HS Coaches attending home Florida State Football Games; Assist in organizing HS Football Coaches socials on campus and in key cities; Host HS Football Coaches who attend Official Visits and Unofficial Visits; Assist with coaching clinics
Football Walk-on Program: Coordinate with Director of Player Personnel positional numbers; Meet regularly with current walk-ons and maintain strong relationship; Monitor current walk-on player academic performance; Monitor current walk-on player compliance with Sports Medicine; Assist in monitoring current walk-on player compliance with Strength & Conditioning, Equipment Department, Nutrition Department and housing arrangements; Correspond with current walk-ons on summer program and fall roster spots; Assist Director of Personnel with roster management of the 105 / 120 limitations; Assist in identification of new walk-on players thru HS Coaches; Evaluate potential walk-ons; Perform academic assessment; Promote Bright Scholars Program to prospective walk-ons; Perform walk-on tryouts on campus; Assist with onboarding of all new walk-ons to the program; Ensure all compliance paperwork is completed; Communicate with all support departments for any new players into the program.
Assist in coordinating all official and unofficial visitations, including all details involved in organizing and carrying out the recruiting events and activities. This also includes coordinating academic transcripts, travel arrangement, tours of facilities, and host responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to eight years. (Note: post-high school education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
