 Attending to the needs of student athletes in area of recovery, emergency response, and injury prevention. Must carry certification (BOC Certification; ATC Certification; CPR/AED/First Aid Certification. Athletic Trainer will be responsible for establishing good working relationships and willing to help out with departmental needs. Provides comprehensive care to student-athletes on campus and at game venues. Assists in supervision of all facets of the Athletics Training Program. Coordinates medical procedures and physicals.

Essential Functions Provides comprehensive care and assistance to student-athletes. Administers first aid treatment to athletes. Attends to injuries and illnesses on campus and at game venues. Conducts testing, prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation procedures. Makes medical referrals upon examinations. Organizes physician visits and evaluation procedures. Consults with others regarding the rehabilitation and return of injured athletes. Distributes injury, progress, and status reports to coaches and physicians. Manages, plans, and supervises all aspects of the athletic training program alongside the Head Athletic Trainer. Coordinates routine entrance and exit physicals for athletes.
