Must carry certification (BOC Certification; ATC Certification; CPR/AED/First Aid Certification. Essential Functions Provides comprehensive care and assistance to student-athletes. Administers first aid treatment to athletes. Attends to injuries and illnesses on campus and at game venues. Conducts testing, prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation procedures. Makes medical referrals upon examinations. Organizes physician visits and evaluation procedures. Consults with others regarding the rehabilitation and return of injured athletes. Distributes injury, progress, and status reports to coaches and physicians. Manages, plans, and supervises all aspects of the athletic training program alongside the Head Athletic Trainer. Coordinates routine entrance and exit physicals for athletes.
