Summary/Objective
Assist in the daily function of the athletic training clinic (Responsibilities include but are not limited to prevention, treatment, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, daily athletic training room operations, coverage of events and practices), provide athletic training services to specific teams as assigned (including travel), maintain medical records on SportsWare, and other duties as needed and assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct personnel supervisory responsibilities. The position does require supervision of student-athletes.
Work Environment
The Athletic Training clinic will serve as the primary work environment. The position may require working outside in various weather conditions, in gymnasiums, and other sporting venues. Conditions will vary between venues.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Work hours may vary from week to week and is dependent upon the athletic events schedules. The position requires working some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Travel
Some travel is expected for this position and is determined by the schedule of assigned teams.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work is medium demand. Lifting 50-100 pounds maximum with lifting and/or carrying of objects.
Medium strength is required to position patients for examination. May assist patients as needed, helping them on and off the exam table.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
