Position Details
Athletic Trainer
Provide athletic training services for varsity student-athletes, including acute care, rehabilitation, and health & performance education. Provide clinical care including prevention, assessment, and acute management of athletic injuries; rehabilitation of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions; and documentation of services delivered. Travel with teams and provide medical oversight at practices, competitions, etc. Communicate with coaches, players, and parents. Promote a safe Center for Health and Wellbeing for students and staff of all races, ethnicity, religious, national origins, gender sexual orientations, disabilities and ages. Support the mission and philosophy of the CHWB, the Division of Student Affairs, and the University of Vermont.
Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field and two years’ athletic training experience with collegiate athletics. BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, Vermont Licensed or eligible for licensing. Knowledge of computer software to assist with scheduling, networking, and student instruction. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to health care of student-athletes from all backgrounds.

$60,000-$68,000 at 11-months
