Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Athletic Training r a related field and five (5) years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. NATA and NATABOC Athletic Trainer Certified or Certification eligible. Good standing for licensure as an Athletic Trainer by the Ky Board of Medical Licensure, or eligible to obtain. First Aid and CPR/AED certifications. Ability to travel and work hours on nights, weekendsand holidays.
Position Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide healthcare services to the student-athletes for assigned team, including but not limited to: injury prevention and evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation, practice/event coverage physician referral(s) and medical appointments.
Provide game, practice, conditioning athletic training coverage for assigned sports.
Provide training room coverage.
Assist with medical records management for student-athletes for assigned sport.
Remain current with all national and state certifications and licensure and follow the NATA code of ethics, including annual CEU opportunities.
Other duties assigned by the Associate Athletic Trainer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
One (1) year of related work experience within a collegiate or professional sports setting.
Knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules and regulations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet.
