Head Athletic Trainer
The Athletics Department at Bryant University invites applications for the 10-month, part-time position of Intern Athletic Trainer. Bryant University is an NCAA Division I program, sponsoring 25 varsity sports, and is a member of the America East Athletic Conference. This position reports to the Head Athletic Trainer.
Assist with daily operations of the Bryant University Athletic Training Room, including, but not limited to:Injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries, short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries, education and counseling of student-athletes, and athletics-related health care administration in consultation with and under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, Team Physician(s) and other qualified medical personnel.
Eligible for or certified BOC. Eligible for RI State licensure. CPR/AED certified. This position requires availability on nights, weekends and some travel. Certain requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate persons with disabilities.
