POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking candidates to fill the role of Athletic Trainer. Primary sport coverage for this position will be Tennis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
If filled as Athletic Trainer - Intermediate Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience Required Certifications: Licensed Athletic Trainer - Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization If filled as Athletic Trainer - Advanced Professional, this position requires: Master's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Licensed Athletic Trainer - Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $42,100.00 - $67,300.00.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
