The Athletic Training Operations Manager (ATOM) will assist the athletic training staff in their daily services for Ferrum’s 20 varsity programs. The candidate will be responsible for aiding the Head Athletic Trainer in athletic training room operations, organization, sanitization, and appointment designation as well as serving as practice and game communication liaison. This position does not require athletic training education as the ATOM will not provide any medical services outside of the scope of a First Aid certification.

Bachelor’s degree; basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.

Required Licenses:
Current First Aid/Emergency Cardiac Care Certified (ECC) certification; Current and valid driver’s license required.
Other Preferences:
The candidate must be able to work independently and have the ability to work on evenings and weekends throughout the year to accomplish the tasks necessary for success in this field.
