Minimum Qualifications

Entry to this classification requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. Additionally, incumbents are expected to have a thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Some positions may require a knowledge of business mathematics beyond basic arithmetic. The ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages is also a prerequisite.

These entry qualifications would normally be obtained through a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience.

Experience

1. Experience performing clerical and/or administrative support duties in a busy office environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Demonstrated ability to interpret, apply, and communicate policies and procedures.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional correspondence and external communications.
3. Skill in developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external constituents, donors, and partners.
4. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
5. Knowledge of or ability to learn NCAA regulations related to fundraising, NIL, and corporate partnerships.
6. Ability to coordinate fulfillment activities for sponsorship and NIL agreements, including tracking deliverables, proof of performance, and reporting metrics.
7. Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment and independently with limited supervision.

8. Proficiency in office technology systems and donor/CRM databases.

9. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as required.

10. Commitment to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive work environment with diverse colleagues and constituents including faculty, students, staff, and members of the community

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in annual fund development, partnership activation, or NIL administration.
2. Experience in intercollegiate athletics or a Division I institutional environment.
3. Knowledge of sponsorship or partnership contract management and reporting.
4. Familiarity with donor and partner stewardship programs.
