Position Summary

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as game day administrator for all ticketed on-campus varsity sports (Football, M/W and Women's Basketball, and Men’s Lacrosse). Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in the mitigation of problems and situations that arise during events, including media access, concession operations, parking, and security. Supervise security, parking, and event personnel. Meet regularly with coaches and other Athletics personnel to assess event needs and requirements. Assist with game day administration for major revenue-generating athletic events. Plan, organize, and coordinate several components of the events, such as spectator transportation, hospitality tailgates, and stadium clean-up. Supervise event staff. Purchase equipment, materials, supplies, and services for use in facilities. Responsible for escorting visiting teams and officials upon arrival to campus. Oversee work-study event staff and front desk staff, assign ball boys and other game workers. Perform all game setups. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Attributes
Previous experience in athletics administration/event operation is required. Ability to hire/supervise/evaluate temporary employees Previous experience in the management of multi-use facilities is required. Demonstrated ability to work under adverse weather conditions preferred. Ability to lift equipment and supplies weighing approximately 50 pounds is required. Previous experience with various semi-skilled manual tasks in the maintenance of buildings and grounds is preferred. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations preferred. Unusual Working Conditions
Some nights and weekends required.
