The University of Colorado Boulder encourages applications for an Athletics Digital Content Manager! Primary responsibility is to serve as Digital Content Manager for select CU Athletics’ social media channels including but not limited to Colorado Football. Promote a positive social media presence for CU Athletic Department through a variety of digital media platforms. Assist with social strategy, execution, and content creation on all official platforms as assigned.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate Athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department’s Mission Statement, Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the affiliated conference and the NCAA.

Social Strategy and Execution:
This position is responsible for day-to-day operation and in-game posting of digital communications on Football social media channels as well as other select social media team accounts as assigned. Create a content calendar that is 365 days for social media content. Collaborate with CU Football Creative, SID, Buff Club, marketing and other departments as needed to develop creative and engaging content supporting CU Athletics programs and strategic plan objectives. Work internally and with external vendors on select social media channels on varying levels to ensure overall scope and brand of the athletic department is well represented. Keep track of CU Football social media analytics, prepare monthly analytics reports and communicate the best methods/evidence-based recommendations to relevant parties. Assist in the execution of digital channel related sponsorship elements through Buffalo Sports Properties and CLC as needed for main channels.
Content Creation & Management:
Student-Athlete Social Media Education: (10%)
Starting salary for this position is $60,000.
