Experience fitting football equipment in ordinance with manufacture guidelines and regulations.
Experience working with football equipment at
NCAA
level or higher.
Bachelors’ degree with additional consideration for Masters degree.
AEMA
certification.
Responsible for maintaining athletic equipment in working condition and supervising the daily operation of the equipment cage.
The Athletics Equipment Manager will help manage, oversee, and supervise the equipment room operations including purchasing, inventory, distribution, maintenance, and collection of all athletic equipment in coordination with the Director of Equipment Operations. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: manage all equipment aspects for the football program, collaborate with coaches and staff concerning equipment needs, coordinate with the recruiting staff for uniform and equipment needs during official visit photo-shoots, develop and implement policies and procedures for the athletic equipment room operations, oversee proper fitting and adjusting of equipment for student-athletes, work in conjunction with the Athletic Business Office to procure items in accordance with University purchasing policies and procedures and department vendor contracts, organize and administer the transportation of equipment for all away football contests, supervise student managers for the football program, ensure compliance withNCAA, Conference, Texas State and State of Texas rules and regulations.
