This position serves to increase the awareness of the athletics department on campus and within the greater Baltimore region and beyond through marketing and engagement initiatives with the goal of increasing ticket sales and attendance. The Athletics Marketing & Promotion Coordinator plans and executes inspiring and comprehensive marketing and engagement strategy; and oversees game day experience and environment. This position also synchronizes engagement plan with overall revenue generation plans by including community partners, student groups, sponsors, donors, alumni, season-ticket holders, groups, and faculty & staff; integrates band, spirit groups, and other student-led groups into game day experience; oversees in-game production contractor; activates in-game promotions in collaboration with our sponsorship partner; and collaborates with all other external units within the department and on campus. The Athletics Marketing & Promotion Coordinator manages student and volunteer staff.

Salary and Benefits
$60,000 annually and a contract that offers annual leave, holidays, and sick days. Contractual employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage. The position is contingent on funds being available at time of hire.
