What We Want
Under supervision of the Director of Olympic Performance Nutrition the Nutritionist will support the health, performance, and well-being of student-athletes at Texas A&M University. The Nutritionist will work in compliance with the policies and protocols in place, and will assist in the planning, evaluation, implementation and management of the Performance Nutrition Services provided to Texas A&M student-athletes.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year of related experience.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Registered Dietitian Certification with at least one year experience working in sports.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Effective with time management, task organization, and shows initiative in a fast-paced environment
Works cooperatively with others
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly communicate
Knowledge of sports nutrition counseling
Knowledge of rules and regulations of athletic governing bodies: ex. National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) U. S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) regarding banned substances
Knowledge of eating disorders/disordered eating signs and symptoms in athletes
Ability to analyze body composition assessments and make recommendations on energy requirements
