Develop and execute creative strategies for Football Events, Recruiting and Personnel. Lead creative brainstorming meetings and create a strategic plan that meets the standards of the recruiting office and thought-provoking videos and content. Coordinates departmental workflow, ensures designs reflect the University's messaging and style, and that projects are completed by deadline and within budget. Stay ahead of creative trends and industry creative benchmarks, train staff on the latest trends. Serve as the primary contact for any external creative resources and vendors. Coordinate all general and direct communication for prospects and High School Coaches. Creation and facilitation of Whistle Account for Mass Communication. Manage the creation, implementation, and delivery of all written and digital correspondence. Create master plan for Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, Freshman, and High School Coaches Communication. Distribute communications plan to coaches, support, and athletic staff so they have a clear understanding of the plan. Ensure consistency in massaging in social media and digital platforms.
Manage, mentor, and provide creative direction to Director of Creative Media, Creative Video and student workers. Lead our team to develop workflows that deliver our content 24/7 across current and future platforms with storytelling that is optimized for each screen. Serve as the creative director of direct marketing to individual prospects. Prioritize and map out master schedule of planned communication content for Creative Media and Video. Act as the conduit for the recruiting coaches’ requests for graphic design requests.
Oversee all efforts in Football social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and other emerging platforms. Responsible for all content and the scheduling of posts. Analyze and actively use data and metrics to inform editorial and strategic decisions and to create accountability for results and growth of platforms.
Oversee the organization of all unofficial and official visits to include Itineraries / Lanyards / Name Tags, Presentations, Videos – Stadium, Positional, High Lights
Serve as the Football Representative for the Communications Committee - The Committee will consist of the Digital Media, Marketing, Seminole Productions, Marketing, Seminole Boosters, and Seminole Cinema. Collaborate with the committee for the generation of content and consistency of messaging.
Create master plan for annual communication from the Head Coach. Creation and implementation of all Head Coach recruiting correspondence. Work with Associate AD for Football on all facility related branding. Develop concepts and criteria to promote the Florida State Football Program, Head Coach, and Player accomplishments.
Oversee outside football events that are staged on and off the Florida State Campus. Creation of all communication and marketing of events. Administer the event messaging and storytelling from creation to completion. Determine necessary staff, travel and costs associated with selected events. Oversee all Creative Services software programs and capital expenditures. Act as the system administrator for hardware, software for implantation, maintenance and security of inventory Serve as the liaison between Florida State and vendors for upgrades, troubleshooting and next generation versions.
Bachelor's degree and four years experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to eight years. (Note: post-high school education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
