Job Summary

The BYU Athletics Administrative Assistant will assist the Senior Associate Athletic Director/SWA and Senior Associate Athletic Director External Relations in all aspects of administrative operations, as well as assisting in supporting some of the department¿s internal operations and projects.

What you will be doing:

Student Employment Management

• Manage athletic department student employee hiring process & onboarding
• Organize and implement all details involving monthly "student Employee Lunch & Learns"

Internal Operations

• Manage department Pronto & Teamworks communication software
• Coordinate monthly department "Team Huddles"
• Manage employee recognition programs
• Manage cell phone plans for athletic department staff and faculty

Administrative Support to Sr. Associate AD/SWA & Sr. Associate AD ¿ External

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of calendars, email correspondence and filing system
• Take notes at meetings
• Create Power Point presentations

What Qualifies You to Apply?

Required:  

Bachelor's degree or 2 years' experience in a professional office setting or administrative support role.

Preferred:  

Master's degree and 2 years' experience in a professional office setting or administrative support role.

 

Employee Class: Staff (Full-Time)

Work Location: Provo Campus

Environment: General office or other equivalently good environment
