East Tennessee State University has four (4) positions available for a Certified Athletic Training Intern position for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of East Tennessee State University Division 1 varsity student-athletes. Sports assignments will be determined once the position has been filled. Additional responsibilities will be determined by the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine. Opportunity to work with outpatient physicians services through BucSports Athletic Medicine Center. BucSports Athletic Medicine Center at East Tennessee State University is a multi-disciplinary clinic offering physician and athletic training services to
ETSU
student-athletes and the general public.
The position contract will begin on August 1, 2023, and extend until May 31, 2024. The contract is renewable year to year. Application materials must include a cover letter, resume, and list of at least 3 references.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from
CAATE
accredited athletic training curriculum.
Applicants must also be currently certified and eligible for Tennessee State Licensure.
