Job Summary:
The Chief of Staff for a Division I Men’s Basketball program plays a key role in the strategic and operational success of the team and all student-athletes in the program. This position will assist in the creation and deliverance of programming to support student-athlete academic development and leadership development within the program. This individual is responsible for overseeing administrative functions, player personnel management, assisting with all team logistics, and management of donor & alumni relations. Will assist in teaching the OUE 1086/1087 Class for the summer & fall terms on campus, be a guest presenter in the Athletics Finance class on Campus and will meet with the International SA affinity group one time each semester. Chief of Staff will be responsible for the executive of Student-Athlete Name/Image/Likeness and responsible for the execution of Revenue Sharing and NIL with all men’s basketballStudent-Athletes.
The Chief of Staff will also be the liaison between the men’s basketball staff and the Executive Associate AD who oversees sport performance, athletic training/injury prevention & nutrition to ensure the student-athlete experience is being fulfilled in these areas. The Chief of Staff will have a role in assisting the men’s basketball staff with game planning, opponent evaluation and scouting, and video analysis.

Pay Range: $165,000 - $175,000 annually; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment
