| Job Summary |
The incumbent assists the Athletic Assistant Director with overseeing operations and game day events for the Department of Athletics. He/she coordinates activities with other facilities, operations and event managers who are collectively responsible for specified facility, operations and event management duties.

| Essential Job Functions |
• Supervise operations for all home athletic and special events
• Responsible for operational planning, set-up, and management for all Alcorn State University Athletics game days including Football, Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Basketball, Track and Field, Soccer, Volleyball, Golf, Tennis and Softball.
• Coordinates operational staffing needs and serve as the liaison to all game day operational entities;
• Coordinates the operation, scheduling and use of all athletic facilities by sports camps and users other than the department of athletics;
• Oversees building usage requests for all athletics facilities and coordinates use with coaches’ practice and competition schedule;
• Coordinate the operation and scheduling of all travel of ASU sports;
• Create and maintain operational publications and policies
• Coordinate planning, management, and operation of campus and outside events held in athletic facilities

| Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Relevant professional, financial and managerial experience in an environment with budget requirements, decentralized operations and a variety of events and venues.
