Fundraising & Special Events Management
Coordinate, manage, and execute all Athletics Development fundraising events that support donor cultivation, stewardship, engagement, and revenue generation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Fundraising & Special Events Management
Coordinate, manage, and execute all Athletics Development fundraising events that support donor cultivation, stewardship, engagement, and revenue generation.
Serve as the primary event coordinator for Athletics special events, including but not limited to:
Osprey Booster events
Hall of Fame activities
Golf tournaments and outings
Donor receptions and appreciation events
Coaches' caravans and community engagement events
Athletic facility dedications and ribbon cuttings
Student-athlete recognition events
Alumni and letterwinner events
Hospitality functions associated with athletic competitions
Special donor experiences and VIP events
Athletics fundraising campaign celebrations
Giving Day and 904 Day events
Athletics community outreach and promotional events
UNF Arena Suite event coordination
Develop event timelines, project plans, budgets, and operational procedures.
Coordinate vendors, catering, facilities, audiovisual needs, transportation, permits, and event logistics in an effort to maximize event revenue.
Collaborate with Athletics External Operations, Strategic Communications, Ticketing, Facilities, Compliance, and University Advancement to ensure successful event execution.
Manage event registrations, guest lists, sponsorship benefits, seating plans, and post-event reporting.
Evaluate event effectiveness through participation, engagement, and fundraising outcomes.
Hospitality Operations
Oversee donor and VIP hospitality for all home athletic events and special functions.
Coordinate game-day hospitality spaces, premium seating areas, donor lounges, and special guest experiences.
Ensure exceptional customer service for donors, alumni, sponsors, university leadership, and community partners.
Manage hospitality inventories, event materials, signage, gifts, and recognition items.
Coordinate food and beverage service for donor and prospect events.
Stewardship & Donor Engagement
Coordinate donor stewardship programs designed to cultivate, recognize, and retain Athletics donors.
Plan and execute donor appreciation events and recognition opportunities.
Assist with donor communications, acknowledgments, impact reports, and stewardship initiatives.
Support personalized donor experiences and engagement opportunities throughout the year.
Giving Day & 904 Day Support
Assist in planning and executing UNF Giving Day, 904 Day, and other Athletics-focused annual giving campaigns.
Coordinate promotional events and participation initiatives supporting annual fundraising goals.
Support volunteer and ambassador engagement efforts.
Track participation metrics and campaign results.
Intern & OPS Staff Management
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate interns and OPS staff supporting Athletics Development initiatives.
Develop work schedules and assign responsibilities for events and operational support.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Ensure staff deliver exceptional customer service and represent UNF Athletics professionally.
Development Operations Support
Provide day-to-day support for Athletics Development operations.
Assist with donor database management, event registration platforms, and donor communications.
Coordinate department meetings, calendars, travel arrangements, and administrative projects.
Support fundraising officers with event preparation, stewardship efforts, and donor engagement activities.
Assist with strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
