The Coordinator of Football Recruiting assists the head football coach with student-athlete recruitment as well as student-athlete support and staff management. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Recruiting

•       Coordinates recruitment operations of football student-athletes including identification of prospective student-athletes (PSA), correspondence with PSAs throughout the year (emails, mailings, phone calls), PSA evaluations, PSA contacts, official visits, unofficial visits, recruiting services, admissions procedures, graphics for social media, and all applicable compliance recruiting forms and/or logs

Player Support

•       Assists football student-athletes with compliance, student support services, athletica performance, equipment, and sports medicine departments as well as travel plans, facilities, housing, parking, and student conduct/legal matters

Staff Management

•       Works with coaching staff to identify areas of need and recruits to fill those needs,
•       Manages non-coaching staff, student workers, and volunteers
•       Assists in budget management

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

•       Knowledge of Intercollegiate football
•       Knowledge of the NCAA compliance rules, especially recruiting
•       Knowledge of ARMS software
•       Ability to deliver the same and consistent messages as the head coach about the direction of the program and attitude goals

Minimum Qualifications : Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four years of relevant experience in Intercollegiate or professional football, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred Qualifications:  Football coaching and budget experience are preferred.
