Organization's Summary Statement: This position provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Head Coach, Assistant Coaches, and the Director of Basketball Operations. This includes preparing expense reports, assisting with recruiting and donor correspondence, assisting with the recruiting database management (data entry), assembling gameday youth team lists for home games, maintaining the inventory of office supplies and stationery. Works with WBB staff to coordinate and execute special events for alumni, senior student-athletes, and donors. This role requires a professional demeanor to interact with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including administrators, student-athletes, recruits, donors, and alumni.
Physical Demands: The position requires prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, along with the ability to operate standard office equipment with manual dexterity. The role involves occasional standing or walking to attend meetings or conduct orientations and may require lifting light office materials (up to 20 pounds). Visual acuity and effective verbal and auditory communication are essential for interacting with employees in person, by phone, or virtually
Licenses/ Certifications: NA
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: One (1) year of professional athletic, payroll, finance, accounting, procurement, fundraising, or event coordination experience.
Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education. Knowledge of athletic related policies and procedures.
