Position Summary Information

| Summary |
The Creative Content Assistant Coach will serve to assist the coaching staff in all videos, on-campus recruiting and other office duties. Additionally, this individual is responsible for preparing student-athletes for personal, academic, and athletic success by performing the following duties: | | Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
Other duties may be assigned.

1. Understand and agree to abide by the mission of CBU and the CBU Athletics Department.
2. Coordinate and produce all graphics and video content for women’s basketball promotion and branding.
3. Understand and utilize editing software for communications needs, including but not limited to Adobe products such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, and After Effects.
4. Assist coaching staff with material for scouting assignment and videos as needed.
5. Works collaboratively with team staff to coordinate and produce all graphics and video content for promotional and branding purposes
6. Creates and edits recruiting material, team promotional, hype videos, spirit elements, social media interactive, etc.
7. Develops new ways to promote the women’s basketball team.
8. Find the most effective way to get intercollegiate athletics’ messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques.
9. Stays current on graphics trends and techniques to the sports design industry, and learns and incorporates them at CBU
10. Assists with the creation of marketing, communication, and creative content to engage with fans and recruits
11. Ensures all materials adhere to brand identity and guidelines of CBU Athletics. Maintain consistent style, themes, and marketing strategies for all Women’s Basketball creative content.
12. Understand and adhere to all University and CBU Athletics brand guidelines
13. Adhere to all institutional, conference, and NCAA by-laws and regulations.

• Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
• Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
• Ability to travel, including domestic/international air travel, and work nights, weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard or other office equipment. Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers and speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the phone.
