Job Responsibilities
The Head Coach of Men and Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field, under the direction of the Athletic Director, is responsible for administering the men and women’s cross-country program as well as the men and women's Track and Field program, including recruiting, scheduling, coaching, scouting, academic success planning, community involvement and all other aspects of program administration.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required. Experience as a coach or collegiate runner. A valid driver’s license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred but not required.
Additional Comments
Knowledge and understanding of coaching, recruiting and program administration required. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of the sport of cross country and track required.
