Stanford University seeks a qualified individual for the full-time position of Quality Control Analyst - Defense. The quality control analyst will assist the outside linebackers Coach and the Head Coach of the Football program of a Division I athletics program. This is a fixed-term position ending on Jan. 31, 2026.

Your responsibilities include:

Assist the Outside Linebackers Coach and Head Coach of the Division I football program in the area of the outside linebackers. Responsibilities include coaching the outside linebackers, as well as assisting with the administration of recruiting, training, practice, fundraising, budget management, team travel. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Help plan and organize team training and practice sessions.
  • Participate in on-field coaching activities during practices and at competitions.
  • Perform video study of Stanford and opposing team plays to identify practice and game plan trends. Make recommendations for adjustments to Stanford’s outside linebackers’ practice and game plans.
  • Strategize and self-scout Stanford’s defensive game plans by analyzing trends and tendencies. Make adjustment recommendations to coaches in order to protect from weaknesses.
  • Research and analyze opposing team’s strategy, chart opponent’s tendencies and propose outcomes for success. Provide insights and perspectives for each opponent to assist the coaches in creating a game plan strategy.
