Brief Summary of Job Duties:
The Deputy AD - Internal Operations reports to the Director of Athletics for all elements of these job responsibilities. The incumbent will supervise and assume managerial oversight and responsibility for intercollegiate sports at UCSB along with the oversight of student athlete support service areas within the department. Additionally, the position will serve as the Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) for the department and will directly supervise selected sports, administrative areas, and lead departmental initiatives. Furthermore this position will serve as the department's representative in many areas within the campus, serve on the council of the Big West conference, and represent the department nationally through the NCAA.
