Position Description:
The Development Officer II (Associate Director, Fundraising & Partnerships) will support revenue generation efforts through corporate partnerships, philanthropic giving, NIL fundraising, and premium seating sales. This position will assist in cultivating and managing relationships with donors, corporate partners, and community organizations to enhance financial support for Louisville Athletics. The ideal candidate is a motivated, relationship-driven professional with a strong understanding of fundraising and sales strategies.
The Associate Director, Fundraising & Partnerships will be required to work a non-standard work week, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel, and must be able to attend and work all home Football and Men's Basketball games.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in implementing fundraising strategies across NIL, corporate partnerships, philanthropic giving, and premium seating to generate new revenue.
Oversee a portfolio of donors and corporate partners, building relationships to secure new major gifts, fulfill pledged commitments, and renew season tickets and donations for men's basketball and football.
Secure new commitments for premium seating at the KFC Yum! Center and L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium, including suites, floor seats, premium boxes, and club seats.
Support high-level donor cultivation, stewardship efforts, and special events.
Assist with Cardinal Athletic Fund special projects and initiatives as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three (3) years of previous work experience in fundraising or sales within collegiate athletics.
Master’s Degree in a related field.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM database.
Proficiency in Ticketmaster, Archtics Ticketing System.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work a non-standard work week, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel. Must be able to attend and work all home Football and Men's Basketball games.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
