The Digital Streaming Specialist (Multimedia Technician II) is a full time, benefited position within the Department of Athletics. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of live video production and daily needs including coaches video and creative content.
Duties include but are not limited to live video productions of football, soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, gymnastics, track & field, and softball events. Other duties will include weekly coach’s shows, press conferences, and other various events. The Digital Streaming Specialist will recruit, hire, and train student staff for all broadcasts, coordinate production crew and talent scheduling, and work with the Assistant Athletic Director for Video Operations in purchasing and maintenance for all broadcast equipment.
Additional responsibilities will include editing creative content, help maintain various social media accounts, research upgrades, attend developmental conferences, and general office duties as assigned. Must have a creative and innovative technical mind, be self motivated, and must be very resourceful. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment is required.
The position requires a flexible work schedule based on events including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Some travel will be required for various events and developmental opportunities. Must have experience filming sporting events and have a strong working knowledge of cameras, tripods, lighting, and audio equipment. Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time and must have a valid driver's license.

The environment and physical requirements may change depending on the specific function of the work each department performs. Incumbents may be in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Indoors, in an office space, event space, or public space are protected from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Outdoors, incumbents may not be protected from weather conditions and may be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold. Bending, crawling, and crouching will be required. Incumbents may be required to lift, push, and/or pull objects over 50 pounds and be required to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
