Xavier University, a Jesuit Catholic institution, seeks applications for the All for One Fund Director.  This position is a full time salaried exempt position that will report to the Associate Athletic Director, Development. Position will oversee all annual aspects of athletic development initiatives that support the goals and objectives for growth of the All for One Fund. 

Responsibilities:

• Fundraise for the 19 intercollegiate athletic teams at Xavier University. Some aspects of event management are also included as well as marketing and growing the AFO program.
• Create and oversee an annual fundraising, communication and event plans for Xavier University’s varsity sports. Manage the day to day activities of the AFO and supervises and collaborates with the Development Coordinator. Plan and execute all solicitation mailings, benefit fulfillment and stewardship plans for the All for One Fund.
• Assist with event planning for AFO related events for donors and prospects.  This includes but not limited to fundraising events and AFO benefit events such as: Chalk Talks, the AFO Golf Outing, and donor dinners, etc.
• Manage a donor portfolio of 75-100 donors with the primary focus on donors at the major gift level. Utilize the university’s fundraising software to identify new major gift prospects and high level annual fund prospects. Make personal visits and calls with the goal of building support for Xavier Athletics on an annual and major gift basis. Focus on developing relationships, engaging, stewarding and moving prospects through the development continuum.  Coordinate activities with University Relations and utilize prospect management and tracking systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, plus at least 3 year of fundraising experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements for insurability under Xavier’s policy. 
• The employee will have knowledge of and a commitment to compliance with NCAA rules and regulations. 
• Must have the ability to interact and represent Xavier well with a diverse constituency of students, faculty, alumni and media.
