The Director of Football Recruiting is responsible for all aspects of the Football program’s recruiting efforts including the planning and execution of a 12-month recruiting calendar. This position is the lead recruiting contact and will coordinate with the coaching staff their respective recruiting areas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan and supervise execution of twelve (12) month vision of Recruiting Calendar (Mail, video, graphics, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
• Identify, evaluate, collect data, collect video, etc. on prospects to provide direction to the Coaching Staff through available and permissible sources (e.g., recruiting services, internet, event website, etc.).
• Monitor permissible recruiting websites at direction of the coaching staff to provide them updates on committed prospects and prospects coaches identify.
• Monitor and work collaboratively with the staff to keep them updated on changes in the rules (University, MVFC, and NCAA).
• Coordinate all contacts and travel arrangements for coaches’ on the road recruiting trips.
• Coordinate updates to the ARMS recruiting database.
• Monitor the number of contacts and evaluations conducted by the coaching staff and work with Athletics Compliance Services to ensure records are consistent. 
• Coordinate securing, evaluating and filing of transcripts for selected prospects in collaboration with Admissions and Compliance Services Staff
• Create itineraries, arrange for transportation, lodging, student hosts, meals, name tags, seating charts, compliance paperwork, complimentary tickets, etc.

• Coordinate the completion and submission of required paperwork and expense reports. 
• Serve as a liaison between all departments on recruiting matters (compliance, student services, strength and conditioning, sports medicine, travel, business, facilities, housing, parking, tickets, etc.)
• Coordinate solicitation and securing up-to-date physicals for annual football camp.
• Assist camp director with operations and scheduling of camps/clinics.
• Responsible for supervising student employees working camps/clinics.

Hiring Range: $30,000/year

Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working with a Division I football program.
• Experience with Hudl and DVSport
• Experience with ARMS, Whistle and Catapult.
• Experience with Teamworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a college football player and/or coach.
• Previous experience with the North Dakota State University football program.

Core Competencies:

• Proficiency in Hudl, DVSport, ARMS, Whislte, Catapult, Teamworks Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate to prospects and their families.
• Ability to work on a daily basis with a diverse coaching staff.
