Manages team scheduling, travel logistics, budget and maintenance, and monitoring of compliance and athlete eligibility for an intercollegiate athletics program to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the program. - 5% Monitors student-athlete academic eligibility and status to ensure compliance with established rules and regulations - 30% Evaluates existing strategies, policies, and procedures and makes recommendations to unit leadership for program enhancement; ensures compliance with existing requirements - 25% Schedules logistics, secures resources, and finalizes team scheduling of facilities and travel for games, practices, camps, clinics, and special events - 5% Manages the unit or program budget - 10% May travel with assigned team to ensure compliance with applicable state and university rules - 5% May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees - 5% Oversee the entire setup of all technical aspects of practices and matches including: video recording, network development, and computer connections - 5% Manage scouting breakdown and dissemination of opponent and Wisconsin film exchange; create video dissemination plan for sending video from office to coaches and student-athletes using online portals and student-athlete i-Pads - 10% Create and disseminate statistical packages to coaching staff following matches and practices; scouts and breakdowns all practice drills using statistical software; scout and breadkown all WI and opponent matches

Conditions of Appointment: This is a 100% Academic Staff appointment. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included.
