Director of Athletic Performance for Lacrosse
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Three (3) years of full-time experience at the collegiate level in the area of Athletic Performance and/or Strength and Conditioning. Current certification of either C.S.C.S. (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) or S.C.C.C. (Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified).
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Previous experience with a Division 1 Athletic Program. Experience supervising students, interns, and/or graduate assistants. Experience with administrative tasks within the field of athletic performance and/or strength and conditioning. Current First Aid Certification. Current CPR Certification. Current AED Certification. Understanding of NCAA Compliance Rules (played a Division I, II or III sport, coached in collegiate athletics or as a staff member in a collegiate athletic program). Experience working with a lacrosse program in the area of athletic performance and/or strength and conditioning.
Brief Description of Duties:
The Director of Athletic Performance will work specifically with the Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Programs to develop the physical strength, endurance, flexibility and agility of athletes at the Division I level. Additional responsibilities will include designing a program customized to each sport’s specific needs, maintenance of varsity weight training facility, coordination and cooperation with athletic training staff and general administrative duties. The Director will assume all responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant Director of Athletics for Athletic Performance. Other duties as assigned by the Assistant AD for Athletic Performance.

Special Notes:
This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $3,400 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
Evening and weekend work may be required at times.
