Title: Director of Baseball Operations
Position Summary:
The Director of Baseball Operations will play an essential role providing organizational support to the Duke University Baseball program in accordance with NCAA, ACC Conference and Duke University policies and procedures. This is a part-time, benefits ineligible position.
Essential Functions:
· Perform day to day office, travel and team operational duties
· Assist the head coach with administrative responsibilities
· Manage program calendar
· Organize special events and clinics
· Provide written communication to appropriate departments, programs and individuals
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree and experience working with a baseball program
· Effective written and verbal communication
· Knowledge of NCAA rules
· Strong organizational and problem solving skills needed
· The scope of this position requires weekend, evening and possible holiday hours
· Thrive in fast paced environment, possess a keen attention to details, and ability to multi-task
