The incumbent will report to the Director of Athletics Performance and will work within a dynamic High-Performance team developing athletic performance programs for the Women’s basketball team.
Develop comprehensive athletic performance programs for collegiate student-athletes that address the specific demands (bioenergetic and biodynamic) of basketball
Collaborate with sport coaches and the High-Performance team to optimize player health, wellness, development and performance
Develop and maintain databases for sport performance data
Operate dashboards for player and team monitoring
Operate sports performance monitoring tools and analyze performance data
Work closely with the sports medicine staff to optimize return to performance plans for injured athletes
Participate in periodic evaluation and development of the high-performance program in the context of upon agreed criteria including but not limited to injury statistics, on-court performance, physical preparation key performance indicators, coach and athlete feedback.
This position may require additional hours beyond the typical work week, to include occasional overnight and weekend work as needed to meet the business needs of the operation.
Frequent overnight travel during the week and on weekends monthly throughout the year.
Prolonged periods of standing and sitting indoors and frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
Meet the physical requirements for the job, including the ability to participate in and lead strenuous physical activity.
CPR
Certification or obtained within six months of employment.

Maintain Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (
CSCS
) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (

Faculty or Staff: 12 month
Bachelor’s degree in a related field significant or extensive professional level of experience or specialized expertise.
Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (
CSCS
) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (
SCCC
) Accreditation.
Several years of strength and conditioning experience in a collegiate, professional or private sector setting.
Experience analyzing performance data.
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
Master’s degree in a related discipline.
Experience training basketball athletes at the collegiate or professional level.
Knowledge and experience with athlete tracking and other monitoring systems/techniques.

Remote work eligibility is not guaranteed and is subject to approval. All hiring rates are commensurate with relevant experience up to the advertised amount considering internal alignment.
