Examples of what you'll do
Lead and support the strategic identification, evaluation, and recruitment of college players in the transfer portal.
Produce comprehensive scouting reports on prospective student-athletes, highlighting strengths, developmental traits, and roster fit.
Provide recruiting insight and consultation to coaches and staff throughout the offer and evaluation process.
Assist with the creation, organization, and maintenance of recruiting boards, databases, notes, and evaluation systems.
Contribute to and enhance a competitive athletic experience.
Foster an environment that supports the well-being, academic success, and personal development of student-athletes.
Responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of the department, University, Big 12 Conference and NCAA.
Ideal candidates bring a solid understanding of football recruiting, the transfer portal, and modern player evaluation techniques. Proven skills in project management, organization, communication, and problem solving. The position requires a high work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and the ability to work effectively with a diverse student body and staff. This position works non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends and travel with the team.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience coaching or working in football recruiting at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in recruiting operations at a NCAA DI football program.
Experience working with PFF, Hudl, and creating cut ups.
