Job Summary:
This is a professional position responsible for assisting with the administration of the department of athletics. Responsible for assisting the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance with the administration of a comprehensive compliance program that includes rules education, monitoring, reporting and general support of the compliance efforts of all student-athletes, staff, and external constituents. Job Description:
Oversee all aspects of either NCAA Bylaws 12, 13, 14, & 17 or NCAA Bylaws 13, 15, 16 & 17
Serve as liaison for institutional name/image/likeness (NIL) program and collaborate with campus and external partners to plan and deliver education related to NIL.
Monitor and track all NIL activities to ensure compliance and reporting requirements are met
Oversee Transfer Portal and Roster management
Complete and assist with NCAA annual reports
Assist in playing and practice season declaration and monitor student-athlete time management
Recruit and Oversee Compliance Intern
Manage and monitor athletics coaches and staff members as it relates to their specific NCAA role classification to ensure full compliance with their responsibilities.
Educate institutional and athletics staff members, faculty, student-athletes, community members and boosters on NCAA rules and procedures.
Assist with developing and implementing athletics compliance policies and procedures.
Research NCAA rules and provide coaches and staff with interpretations as directed/assigned by the Associate AD for Compliance. Work with the Southern Conference office and the NCAA to obtain official rules interpretations as needed.
Investigate secondary and major NCAA violations
Works to uphold the integrity of the NCAA, Conference and Athletic Department's vision and core values.
Attend regional and national conferences.

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of related experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations as an administrator.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
Basic Problem solving skills
Ability to compile data and prepare, write and review reports.
Excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn compliance and institutional software.
Experience utilizing Canva software
