JOB SUMMARY
A Collegiate Director of Compliance in NCAA-member institutions ensures that all athletic programs and related activities adhere to NCAA regulations and guidelines. This role involves overseeing compliance procedures, educating staff and student-athletes, investigating potential violations, and maintaining records. They also serve as a liaison with the NCAA and other institutions on compliance matters.
MAJOR DUTIES
The Collegiate Director of Compliance plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and fairness of intercollegiate athletics by overseeing and enforcing compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.
Manage day-to-day responsibilities of NCAA compliance, including monitoring recruiting activities, eligibility, financial aid, amateurism, and adherence to playing and practice season rules. This includes providing timely interpretations of NCAA, conference and college rules to coaches and staff.
